TigRES 4 Vtail F3L/F3RES

The TigRES 4 represents the most refined evolution of the TigRES design to date, developed directly from years of competition experience and flight testing. Building on the strengths of TigRES 3, the T4 introduces a built-up pod and carbon tail boom configuration, delivering a significantly stiffer and more efficient structural layout.

Aerodynamic refinements focused specifically on improving wind penetration. Redesigned wingtips with increased aspect ratio and re-optimized, thinner airfoil sections clean up the outer wing while maintaining nearly the same total wing area. The result is a noticeably more efficient aircraft with substantially improved performance in windy conditions.

The tail group geometry remains familiar, with structural updates implemented to improve strength while reducing weight. First flown in early 2025, TigRES 4 embodies a time-hardened, purpose-driven approach to RES and F3L performance—shaped by real competition rather than short-cycle optimization.
